Les Violettes, Lubin

Les Violettes is a feminine perfume by Lubin. The scent was launched in 1925 Discontinued According to the Perfume Encyclopedia, Lubin created at least seven perfumes with the name "violet," their first released in 1890. This release, dating from 1925, is just what it purports to be - true soliflore violet, aided as usual in this particular treatment by violet leaf and orris to enhance its dry, powdery beauty. No chemicals here, just the pure violet. It is quite gentle and wears close to the skin. It is most reminiscent to the Berdoues classic. :
